How It Works
A Child Is Nominated
An elementary or middle school administration nominates one child facing significant life challenges who would benefit from encouragement, friendship, and joy.
Friendship Begins
Your YES Club gets to know the child and their family through fun visits and shared experiences. You learn what makes them smile, what they love, and what would make their YES Day unforgettable.
Your School Rallies
Students organize creative fundraisers and involve the entire school community in making the YES Day possible.
Every Detail Is Planned
Working alongside YES DAY staff and a dedicated volunteer advisor, students design a personalized YES Day centered around the child's biggest dreams.

Who Can Join?
YES Club is open to students with every type of talent and interest. You don't have to be class president. We need:
Everyone has something valuable to contribute.
Club Leadership
Recommended minimum: 8 students
Every member is encouraged to raise at least $100 toward their club's fundraising goal.
Fundraising
Every YES Day is unique. After getting to know your YES DAY Recipient, your club creates a fundraising goal based on the experience you're planning together.

Students are never expected to raise every dollar themselves.
YES DAY will subsidize any remaining costs needed to make the YES Day happen. Our mission is to teach leadership, teamwork, creativity, generosity, and philanthropy — not create pressure.
